Shows & Judging

Every year we run an open show in early March and over the second May Bank Holiday.  The latter show is held in conjunction with our famous rescue rally and fun day.  Our Championship Show now takes place in November.  For show schedules and entry forms, please see our Events page.

The Scamp and Sasha Trophy is the Club’s annual points based trophy open to all paid up members. It is awarded to the dog or bitch who attains the most points at open and championship shows in a calendar year. Details of how to claim can be found here

In the spring of 2017 the Kennel Club announced a new system for the education, approval and listing of every level of judge, from those who aspire to judge, right through to open show judges and those who go on to award Challenge Certificates and judge championship show groups and best in show. This was formerly known as the Judges Competency Framework and is now known as the Judges Education Programme (Breed Shows) and an update can be found by clicking here.  This is being regularly updated by the Kennel Club and you are strongly advised to read the relevant information on the KC website.   Please contact Sue Hush if you have any questions and she will try to help!
